Willow Weaving Workshop

  • Breathe4Good Preston Deanery Road Northampton, England, NN7 2ED United Kingdom (map)

Our gardener Fiona recently took an afternoon off to attend a willow weaving workshop and she enjoyed it so much she suggested we host one in the garden. And of course, I thought that sounded like a great plan!

And so we have our very first willow weaving workshop in the garden on the afternoon 21 May. Jane our teacher will demonstrate how to make a sustainable and durable willow plant support and then it’ll be our turn to get weaving with Jane on hand to guide and support us. You’ll leave at the end of the workshop with a willow plant support to take home and a new skill that you can apply to make many more!

The afternoon will conclude with tea and cake and time to wander around the garden.

The workshop is suitable for beginners, though it does take some strength in the hands and wrists.

Please bring an apron/sensible shoes/boots/garden gloves/secateurs and a sense of fun!

The workshop costs £40.
